The vision of the Nature Sanctuary is to foster community appreciation and respect for natural systems and the knowledge and skills to act responsibly to benefit the environment and future life. Our mission is to conserve and restore Nature Sanctuary lands and waters while inspiring stewardship through community engagement and collaboration.
Support nature by becoming a member of Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary. You can help preserve one of the few remaining natural areas of Victoria, provide nature education to the people of Greater Victoria, and improve and maintain one of the area’s best outdoor facilities.
Membership ($35.00 per year) includes:
- 10% discounts at our annual native plant sales, our gift shop, and education program fees.
- Subscription to the Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary e-newsletter.
- Voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting.
