Just 6km from downtown Victoria, our accessible greenspace offers incredible natural beauty for meetings, workshops, team-building and educational gatherings.
Offer your group an extraordinary opportunity to get grounded in nature with break-out sessions or walking meetings around the lake!
- Available 9am-9:30pm Monday-Sunday
- 10% discount for Society members, not-for-profit organizations and active military personnel.
- All indoor rentals include free public wifi

Indoor facilities:
Nature House Main Hall
With stunning views of Swan Lake, soaring architecture and unique character this is a perfect option to mix work & play.
- $70/hour (2 hour minimum)
- Accommodates up to 50 people
- Highspeed wifi (full bandwidth) +$10/day
- Removal of the taxidermy and display cases from the main hall for your event +$30
- White tablecloths +$20/day
- Only available outside of nature house hours (evenings or Sundays/Mondays)
The Classroom
Featuring large windows looking out to tranquil oak and lake views. Projector and screen along with high-speed Wi-Fi available to host webinars or conference calls, and the elevated stage offers an area for presentations.
- $70/hour (2 hour minimum)
- Accommodates up to 35 people
- Elevated stage, chalk board, sink
- Projector and screen +$15/day
- Highspeed wifi (full bandwidth) +$10/day
- White tablecloths +$20/day
- The Library can be combined with the classroom for up to 50 people +$10/hour
The Library
Amazing views of the lake and an intimate vibe, the library is a great spot to host a small workshop or meeting.
- $60/hour (2 hour minimum)
- Accommodates up to 15 people
- Highspeed wifi (full bandwidth) +$10/day
Full Nature House
With stunning views of Swan Lake, unique character and access to the library and classroom, this is a perfect option for an larger dinner reception or party.
- $80/hour (2 hour minimum)
- Accommodates up to 100
- Includes classroom, library & main hall

Outdoor facilities:
Teaching Shelter
A covered area with bench seating. Nestled among Garry Oaks it provides exquisite views of Swan Lake; perfect for educational gatherings, meetings, book launches, art & meditation. Your imagination is the only limitation!
- $60/hour 2 hour minimum or included with a Nature House booking for $100/hour 2 hour minimum
- Accommodates up to 30 people
- 3 additional 10x10 tents available to accommodate additional service or guest needs
Founders’ Wharf
Host intimate gatherings surrounded by rushes, bird song and lake water. You will truly host an event on the lake.
- $60/hour 2 hour minimum or included with a Nature House booking for $100/hour 2 hour minimum
- Accommodates up to 20 people
Site Use Agreements
Looking to host an outdoor workshop, birding tour, photoshoot or unsupported outdoor event? We offer access to our beautiful grounds for your outdoor event through our site use agreements.
- These are unsupported (no Nature Sanctuary staff required) events
- Use of the Founders' Wharf and teaching shelter is permitted, however these spaces are not reserved for site use agreements. To reserve an outdoor space please see facility rentals above.
