This free 3-hour workshop on gardening with drought-resistant native plants will:
• identify native plants
• review the benefits of native plants
• teach how and where to grow native plants
• offer tips for reducing or eliminating lawns
• inform how to create special natural habitats, meadows, thickets and woodlands
• include an informative tour of the native plant garden

This free workshop is designed for people who have completed the introductory Native Plant Gardening Workshop. People who have been using native plants in their gardens will benefit the most from the worshop. Topics to be covered include:
• a review of native plants for your garden
• new native plants for your garden
• native plants by season and colour
• garden problems - finding solutions
• viewing native plant gardens
