In-School Programs are designed for districts 61, 62, and 63 and surrounding independent schools. They are held in local school classrooms during the school year, from September until June.

All In-School programs are also available on-site at the regular hourly rate of $80.

Travelling Owl Program
(Grades: Kindergarten to 6. Duration: 1 hour. Cost: $95

Duration: 1.5 hours. Cost: $115)
We'll look at the amazing world of owls through specimens, props, dissected owl pellets and owl calls. The ninety minute long program includes an owl pellet dissection. Ce programme est disponible entièrement en français. Available: Sep to Jun, Monday to Friday, a.m. or p.m.

 

Travelling Spider Program
(Grades: Kindergarten to 5. Duration: 1 hour. Cost: $95)
They're hairy, they're scary, but the more we learn about them the more fascinating they become. Through hands-on discovery, spider dress-up and by looking at live spiders we'll explore the amazing world of arachnids. Ce programme est disponible entièrement en français. Travelling Snake Program
(Grades: Kindergarten to 7. Duration: 1 hour. Cost: $95)
This popular travelling program explores the wonderful world of snakes with skins, skulls, skeletons and live snakes!

Travelling Bat Program
(Grades: Kindergarten to 4. Duration: 1 hour. Cost: $95)
Through story, props, specimens and games, we'll explore the remarkable adaptations of bats to their nocturnal habitat.

Portable Pond Program

(Grades: 1 to 5. Duration: 1 hour. Cost: $95)

We'll bring our portable pond to your classroom to introduce your students to the creatures of the wetlands through hands-on discovery. Available: Sep to Jun, Monday to Friday, a.m. or p.m.
